Brigham Young University offers a certificate and minor in Gerontology.

*A change in policy has been made.  Students are now able to double count classes for both their minor and their major.

Requirements: 15 credit hours selected from core required and elective courses.

If you take HLTH 466, you must either take 1 more internship credit hour or 1 more elective to ensure that you complete 15 credit hours. 
This will appear as a substitution on your form and your transcript.  Make sure to check that this has been taken care of before graduation.
